Ausmumof3
Half curly hair? My dds hair waves and will curl if left to dry wet. They are only gentle curls not tight ringlets though? also she tends to get really dirty with pets and farm dirt - is her hair going to be clean enough? What products do you use? Guest
Yes, do get the book. It addresses varying springiness of curls all the way down to loose waves. I thought I had barely wavy, constantly messy hair. It turns out I have moderately tight curls, but they get weighed down easily because my hair is extremely fine. A little nurturing and curly specific hair care will bring out the best in every curly/wavy girl :)
milovany
Agreeing! I have the "s'waves" which look curly if I do the routine. I have found that the Suave coconut conditioner works great with my hair instead of the expensive product. I've also used the L.A. Looks (I think it's called?) gel.
Joyofsixreboot
I have curly hair but my dd's is more the wave/frizz variety. I picked up a reasonably priced no sulphate shampoo at Sally's she uses once a week. A couple times/week she co-washes with Garnier smooth conditioner. It doesn't smell, even on a constantly in motion 11 yo. It also looks 1000x better.
