It's sort of heavy on ancients for the reading, but the Pearcey book looks great as a philosophical spine. Thing I'm GAGGING over is Streams. Really?? People actually read this?? I need to drag out my copy and see. Dd has asked for a good one year survey of world history just to pull things together, and I was excited to think SL could be it.
