amiesmom
I've been able to field test Lightning Literature for the last few years and have really grown to like it, unfortunately, they just announced that they won't be field testing level 4 this coming school year, and of course, that was my plan for my 4th grader. So I'm looking for other options. What I liked about LL is that it incorporated reading, grammar, and writing. In the past I have used separate grammar and writing curriculum and added reading in, but it just feels so much more streamlined to have it all together. I would prefer something secular, but religious is ok also. Thanks for any suggestions!
Melissa B
I was disappointed too. I haven't seen or used it, but there is English Lessons through Literature.
paceofnature
I'm bummed too. I'm thinking I may switch to Mosdos with some Bravewriter added in.
amiesmom
Is there anywhere to look at sample pages of Mosdos? I've been looking at it too, but the few shots of the books they show don't really tell me what the program is like on a day to day basis. paceofnature
At http://www.mosdospress.comyou can select the grade level you are interested in and on the following page, bottom right side, you can find links to samples of the book. I wish they had better samples of the workbooks, but you can see some at http://www.mosdospress.com/workbook_edition.php
