Beaniemom
I have been using a hoop when stitching but want to switch to a frame especially for some of my bigger projects. Does anyone have experience with using a scroll frame? What should I be looking for when selecting one? Any advice or recomendations? Twigs
I went from hoops to scroll frame to Q-snap frames. I love the Q-snap. Here is a video showing how to use a Q-snap like a scroll.
PamJBA
I love q-snap frames as well. I only use a hoop if I need something really small.
Guest
I have Qsnaps and scroll frame. For small to medium sized projects, I prefer the qsnap. But large priests work better in the scroll frame. QQsnaps have to be too large to keep the extra fabric out of the way and then the project is unwieldy. Also, the scroll frames work better with.flior stands and pattern clips. But if you are not planning in doing large projects, qQsnaps are wonderful.
Guest
Scrolls are also better than qQsnaps for needlepoint
