marylandhsmom
Just thinking ahead to next year... is MCT a complete LA program? I'm drawn to it but also to CAP Fables, but then what would you add to round out LA? We are using CLE for LA now but I wanted to do something different for writing. Any thoughts would be appreciated! 3girls4me
We did CAP W&R along with R&S English. Then we started Treasured Conversations. Since the first section is grammar, we paused R&S and only used TC. We are doing written narrations to add a little more writing during this section. After TC, we will go back to R&S English and to the next book of W&R.
marylandhsmom
Oh I was just looking at TC!! There are too many good choices out there...
Roadrunner
CAP and MCT will complement each other well. MCT is complete LA minus spelling, but most of us think the writing instruction/assignments aren't enough or sufficiently detailed to develop skills for many kids. CAP is writing, so you can add it in without much overlap.
