Homeschooling6
Is this the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia that is easier to outline or this one HERE? Thanks,
frogpond1
but I didn't know there was a struggle. So I am probably clueless about the previous discussion.
Sandy in Indy
I think it's this one: (but I'm not 100% sure) http://www.amazon.com/Kingfisher-Illustrated-History-World-Present/dp/1856978621/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220046875&sr=1-
Homeschooling6
Is it worth $60.00+ dollars:001_huh: or should ds just outline CHOW, SOTW and other books:). I'm probably crazy to be thinking about it.

mcconnellboys
Yeah, I'd outline from something cheaper. My son is using SOTW for that this year.

Last I heard SWB recommended you find a different text that is arranged well for outlining. Heather
dcjlkplus3
To me it was worth getting, we have 3dc and the oldest is only 7 and both dh and I are history freaks. It is a beautiful book.
Alana in Canada
I have the WTM where Kingfisher is recommended as a resource for outlining. WTM has a copyright, 2004, 1999. In it, the edition of Kingfisher History Encyclopedia recommended is copyrighted 1999. Of the two you linked, the red one is copyrighted 1999, and the green one is 1994. I have a red one, it looks different from the one you linked to and it has "Fully Revised and Updated" emblazoned all over it. Copyright page reads--2004, 1999. THIS one, the last one is the one which is definitely impossible to summarize. I've tried to do it myself. Can't. You should be fine with the red one copyrighted 1999.
