Night Elf
My mom called today. The temp in her fridge was accidentally pushed to maximum. Her eggs frozen. Can she let them thaw out and still eat them, or are they ruined?
LucyStoner
Assuming these are whole eggs, in the shell, they are ruined. They don't freeze or thaw well. This is why I don't keep eggs in the back of my fridge.
KatieJ
I personally have always used them when that happens. I checked several websites and they are perfectly safe to use. However you might not get perfect results when using in baked goods. Suggest that she use them in scrambled eggs, quiche or pudding etc.
KRG
I've used frozen eggs before and it was fine.
Night Elf
Yeah, she just wanted a scrambled egg. She's thinking of throwing them out because she isn't sure about them. I'll let her know the responses I've gotten. Thanks!
