lisajoyfulness Posted September 12, 2014 Share Posted September 12, 2014 I killed my printer! :-( It was 8 years old and for the first time in it's history I purchased ink from Office Max instead of Cartridge World and it killed it...plugged the nozzles! Anywho... Most of the printing that I do is black and white. From what I'm seeing online, I'm going to save on ink in the longrun if I get a laser printer, but I also want to occasionally print in color. Does any one have any recommendations for printers? They go on sale often at places like Office Max, and they're awesome. :) I've had one for a couple years now and I've never had a single issue with it. dsmith Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 A second vote for a Brother laser printer. We have them for our business and in 6 years have never had a problem. I have an HP at home, and while it works great the ink is more expensive than the Brother in the long run. I'm contemplating getting a Brother for home when I can find a good sale.
