Phonics Readers

Hi,

I have the bob books however I'm not convinced my daughter is actually decoding or just treating them all as sight words. She has a remarkable memory but I was wondering if anyone had any other set of readers that they had found that they liked. We use LOE for phonics if that helps.

Thanks,

Jen

My DS6 likes the I See Sam books. They actually have interesting story lines (for readers) and good illustrations. We have them on the ipad so they are in color, which helps I think. You might want to check out the American Language Readers Series (Fun in the Sun, Scamp and Tramp, etc) We have the first one, but Rainbow Resource sells the entire set of six for the best price I've seen.
