Tabrett
I keep looking at the WP website at HIH. I see that they use all 4 volumes of SOTW and Usborne Encyclopedia. Are these the only history books used? This seem intense for k and 1st grades. Am I missing something? Someone in another post said something about there being more picture books and books that are more gentle than SL K. I don't see any literature books at all. What am I missing? dragons in the flower bed
The IG also schedules a "Cultural Experiences" set of picture books, for sale here.
chiguirre
I'm stretching HIH out over 2 years and adding in extra reading, coloring and maps from the SOTW Activity Guide. I do think that HIH in one year would be overwhelming.
