Top choices for 4th grade audio or read alouds?

My middle will be in 4th grade this year. He is dyslexic but reading on grade level. I think I'll have him read from SL readers this year with me (I have most all of their readers through 5th grade) but I want to include books that are above his reading level to help enrich his vocabulary and get him interested in reading. What are some good read alouds that your boys enjoyed at this age? I'll either read these books aloud or I'll download the book on Learning Ally so he can listen.

Thanks,

Sandy

Not sure about vocabulary enrichment but last year we enjoyed Bud, Not Buddy and Wonder (this is more 5th grade I would guess). These two were enjoyable but not sure they did much for us vocabulary-wise. Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate events probably had a bit more vocabulary.

Hits from the past year:

The Candymakers (both kids adored this book and it is whispersync)

The Phantom Tollbooth (Learning Ally but no illustrations so maybe also pick up a used copy)

Alice in Wonderland

Through the Looking Glass (my 9 year old loved both Alice books)

Peter Pan

Planned for this year:

Treasure Island

The Invisible Man

Tuck Everlasting

A Wrinkle in Time

Number the Stars

Call it Courage

Ds did read The Wind in the Willows last year but did not enjoy it at all.
