ereks mom
I want Life Science from a Christian perspective, but I need a cheaper lab option than the BJU kit. So, if anyone has matched these up, I'm all ears. :) Or if anyone can help me pick and choose from the BJU labs and help me put together a list of necessary lab supplies, that would be great. I will be teaching squeamish 12-15 year old girls, and I doubt we'll do any *actual* dissections, so we'll do virtual/video labs with dissections instead. MicheleinMN
I like this dvd: http://www.christianbook.com/biology-lab-dissection/9781591662228/pd/205773?product_redirect=1&Ntt=205773&item_code=&Ntk=keywords&event=ESRCP You could watch it and then decide if you are going to do any of the dissections and then buy any supplies needed from here: http://www.hometrainingtools.com I've used it with 3 of my children so far. ereks mom
Anyone?
mom31257
I think doing labs is a bit overrated. If the parents of these girls want labs, they should just pay a fee for you to purchase the supplies.
Paula in MS
Well, the good thing is that you can split the cost among the girls. :) I plan to just go through, pick and choose which ones to do, and order from home science tools. I haven't had a chance to really look at it yet, though.
