VaKim Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 My Hamilton Beach single long slot toaster is about dead. They apparently don't make that kind anymore. I'd like something that can handle bagels and wider (not thicker) slices of bread (such as store bought italian). Any suggestions? Or are they all pretty much the same? Also, if anyone can recommend a really good 6 slice or bigger toaster oven. Mine is a little scrawny one that can't hold enough to use it instead of the big oven, which is what I'd like it for. Alessandra Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I have a Cuisinart Classic toaster oven broiler (3 dials on the side, under $70 at Amazon now) that I love. It get toast brown on both sides, not just one side as many toaster ovens do. It just holds 6 slices of bread, as long as the slices are not too large, or 6 hamburger bun halves.
