heartosunshine
I'm going in tomorrow morning to get an ultrasound guided steroid hip injection. I've been doing physical therapy for the recently discovered arthritis in my left hip but it's not taking the pain away. This is the next step & both my doctor & pt think I'll benefit greatly from it. Any experience with this?
NorthwestMom
My DH gets these every few months. He gets a lot of relief from them. I would say he has mild aching at the injection site once the anesthetic wears off, but the next day is totally fine and can be active again. :) DH needs the shots due to a misshapen femur, not arthritis, so your outcome might be different. It's worth a try though. God luck!
QueenCat
Dh just had one today. He went to work about two hours later (desk job). However, after the first one, he couldn't go to work. He had to take a stronger pain killer the first time. Second time he could cope with just tylenol.
