shburks
I'm planning to use Apologia Astronomy for my son next year, and I'm trying to decide if buying the lab kit is worth it or not. It gets great reviews on CBD. Anyone have opinions or experiences?
Mommy22alyns
I haven't used it, but I will next year too and I bought the kit. I love lab kits, they make sure science gets done! I have used one for the anatomy course and it was very helpful.

Tess in the Burbs
I get Apologia kits from Nature's Plus. Often they have more items in them...hence the higher price. But I prefer them over the other ones out there.
Berta
We are doing Swimming Creatures next year, I bought the lab kit for it. It's all stuff I could find around the house or easily in the dollar store, but knowing me the labs will get put off because I forgot to get the supplies together. For me, it was definitely worth the money to have everything on hand, sorted and individually bagged for each lesson.
kristinannie
I really don't remember having any trouble finding the items for the experiments in Apologia Astronomy. I didn't buy the kit, but I don't remember that being a problem at all. I'm not sure you would need it for that book.
