happycc
We started with I Speak Latin and then we just stopped because we got busy with a new baby and started Spanish and Chinese. Do you think Sixth graders can do Lively Latin on their own for fun?
redsquirrel
I do.
mc26
That is my plan for next year!
Joyful_Journey
I'm using it with my 6th grader this year. I think it can totally work for logic stage.
Mom-ninja.
I have a 7th grader using it.
coffeegal
It definitely works for logic stage, but my children tend to drop the ball if I don't stay involved. They 'forget' to practice chants and use their flashcards.
sagira
We're using it next year (6th grade). DS is going to be 11 and he's already excited about seeing it. Anything with a fun character in the front is good for him :) It's going to be our first time with Latin.
Walking-Iris
Okay...good to know. I'm one of those that didn't see the point of Latin when they were young. I focused on roots vocab (still do), but I've wanted to add some Latin, but I still didn't want to make a big production of it. I've been thinking about Lively Latin and Vocab From Classical Roots...and calling it good. :leaving:
PollyOR
We use it and dd recently had her 12th birthday. Definitely use the videos - short and sweet.
