Halcyon
Any ideas? I want ds to learn more about mortgages, checking accounts, savings, stock market, loans, credit cards...i could put something together myself, but wondering if there's something out there. Workbook format is fine. Thanks!\ ETA: I'd love something that included electronic paying, paypal, managing money online, comparing credit card rates, managing cash, etc. etc. So something up to date, in other words. Crimson Wife
If he's doing algebra 1 now, he can totally handle Ron Larson's "Math and You". It's available free online: http://www.math.andyou.com/ It doesn't include the most recent topics but I don't think it's all that hard to learn how to use PayPal or to deposit a check using a smartphone app.

OneStepAtATime
I haven't used this site, or had time to really look at it, but it was recommended to me just the other day. It might fit the bill... http://consumermath.org/curriculum/home-economics/
