Susie in MS
We have children who range from K - 8th. Lessons need to be geared to the lower end. They also need to be about 5 mins or less for the lesson. We like to have a craft which complements the lesson. If you have any ideas I would love to here them. Thanks! Murrayshire
I found this blog! She has tons of pictures, crafts, art, projects, book list for Greece. It might be useful to you!http://highhillhomeschool.blogspot.de/search/label/Ancient%20GreeceAlso, check out our Greek Feast we had on our blog (in signature), if you decide to do this after your study on Greece! My kids, and their friends, had a blast dressing up and eating like Greeks. Edit to add: We have used this book since 2nd grade.....it's for grades 2-5 but you could use it for older dc too! Lots of short and long activities, printouts, history, maps, food to make! It's got it all! My dc have enjoyed it for their GO-TO activity book....as well as SOTW AG book 1. http://www.teachercreated.com/products/greece-3719 You may be able to find it on Amazon a little cheaper. :001_smile:
