Hunter
There are so many options. You can email it to Kindle. You can install dropbox on your computer and on the Fire. Once a file is in dropbox you can read it on any device that you install dropbox on. You can plug your Fire into your computer and drag the files onto the device. I haven't had a Fire in a long time, so can't give more specific instructions. I use the Ipad Mini. I e-mailed Mr. Q to my Kindle account. I installed the Kindle app, and then can click on the Mr. Q files like any Kindle book.
Matryoshka
Just download it and open the files with any PDF reader... where are you getting stuck?
ondreeuh
Are you looking for it under books or documents? It should be under documents. This is different than using the kindle app on an iPad, as books and documents are mixed together there. Do you know how to email it to yourself? Go to Amazon and manage your kindle device. Copy the email address for your kindle and send an email with the attached files to that account. The new files should then be saved in the documents "folder." Even mobi files will be considered documents if you have transferred via email.

mytwomonkeys
On my iPad I bookmarked it and saved it to my desktop. I can just open it up by chapter, as long as I have wifi. Does kindle allow you to save it to your home screen?
