Miss Marple
When my boys were very young, we had some computer games that they loved and were, IMO, educational. Pajama Sam, Freddie the Fish were two of the ones I remember. If you are familiar with those, do you know if there are any new games out there that are similar? Maybe for the iPad? I'm asking for my niece who is looking to begin schooling her 4 year old (5 in June).
MomatHWTK
Not familiar with those, but maybe post specifically for Pre-K educational apps? We use Adroid tablets and PCs so I'm not much help for an iPad. :)
beth83
I am not familiar with those games. Can you tell me more about them and I can try to recommend some games my kids love. Are they math-based, phonics-based, just a plain logic game, etc, etc?
Miss Marple
They were more logic and thinking skills games. Some memory stuff but could be done by a non reader
Barb_
Freddie fish, putt putt and pajama Sam are all on the iPad in original form! They are about $5 each and I can't tell you how happy I was to find them for my youngest. The early 90s were really the golden age of kids computer games, weren't they? I assumed they were obsolete. My boys had so much fun with those. I would even admit to being entertained by them, myself haha.
