steppingstonemomma Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 My daughter needs to take Advanced Biology next year and I am curious whether anyone has used or even looked through the newest Adv. Bio book that Apologia just came out with. Apparently it was not written by Dr. Wile. I had heard that it was pretty different than the first edition. Anyone have any opinions or news? Should I purchase the 1st ed. or the 2nd ed? That's my question. Any advice in helping me figure this out woudl be greatly appreciated. HollyDay Posted June 29, 2014 Share Posted June 29, 2014 We did look at it about a month ago. I have not looked at the older edition in over a year so I'm not sure I can compare the 2 adequately. But, I can tell you I will be buying the newer edition if we chose to go with that text. It is very colorful. The diagrams and charts are really well done.
