This is the used book store to end all used book stores. So, I'm standing there with my armload of books and looked down. There, on top of a pile of misc books is the complete 4 volume set of Mara L. Pratt's American History Stories, in excellent condition! There's some cover wear, but the binding is tight and clean and they're definitely readable. I went to the counter to ask the price, as there was no tag on them. The sales man looked them over and said, "How about $20 for the set?" Needless to say, I now own a 4 volume set of Mara L.
