Word Nerd
Do you have any recommendations for Christmas-themed novels or audiobooks—especially cozy mysteries or other books that aren't heavy on romance? I'm almost finished with my current book and think I'll get something with a holiday theme next. I listen to audiobooks on my commute and usually prefer those to be lighter books or even well-written children's books so I can still focus on my driving without missing anything important. I wish there were a new Flavia de Luce book out, as that's the kind of book I'm looking for. (If there's already a thread about this, please link to it. I didn't find anything except Christmas book lists for kids when I did a search.)
Stacia
Well, I love Truman Capote's short story, A Christmas Memory. For silly fun, I just read The Fat Man by Ken Harmon. It's a Christmas noir tale. If you check this week's book a week thread, you can find my comments there. http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/495961-book-a-week-in-2013-week-forty-nine/?p=5341709
