I'm doubting myself and wondering if I'm on the right track and including all I need to include. I just need some reassurance. Thank you so much. I have heard that it is helpful to make a list of positive character traits, then write about examples that highlight those traits. I pieced together so many different things from samples I found online, and samples and suggestions I found here. That gave me a great starting point, and I went from there. On the one hand, I was overall pleased with the final letter, but it was all so mortifying--it still makes me uncomfortable to have everything out there in writing. My dh hated the letter, btw. Whatever. My dd was accepted into the schools to which she applied (except for the one that she gave minimal effort). Whether it was good or bad, it obviously didn't hurt her chances.
