She assured me, "Mommy, I miss you horribly and terribly, but I'm having a great time!" I said, "Yeah, you're just telling me what you think I want to hear, so you get to go again." "No, really, Mommy, I do miss you horribly and terribly!" "So, you want to come home then?" "No, I'm having a great time!" Pause. "Hmmm, I think you're teasing me... I'm pretty sure ds18 wanted to tell me he misses me "horribly and terribly" when we visited him at college yesterday! But somehow it went unsaid...
