Joyfullyblessed
Hello! If you have a Silhouette Cameo, what type projects can you do with it? Does it require that you spend a lot of money beyond getting the machine itself? I am interested in doing decorative signs for the home. Will this machine help with that for the lettering? Plus, I would love to know what else I could delve into should I get this machine. I am just curious if it is worth the money. Thanks so much & have a wonderful day! awisha.
You might be better off asking on a craft forum or even check if there are any forums for the silhouette machines. :)
JenniferB
I have one - it's fun. I make cards and shapes for bulletin boards and shapes for a timeline book. You have to buy blades when they wear out and cutting mats also paper and adhesive.
Delighted3
I have a cricut expression which is similar and I love it. I use it for decorative purposes like vinyl wall lettering, school posters, and scrapbooking. I have had my cricut for several years. If I was going to buy another machine, it would probably be the cameo because you don't have to buy cartridges. HTH, Joy
charcat13
I do. I love it. I've made chalkboard labels, a vinyl shark for my son's room, and a wooden shark sign (he's really into sharks). I have the membership where you pay so much a month for hundreds of designs.
