Joyfullyblessed
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has a very fun and creative way to teach metric measurement to a 4th grader? If you do, will you please share? Thanks so very much! :)
Wabi Sabi
I'm not so sure about the "fun and creative" part, but I've been happy with how Math Mammoth teaches metric measurement. I believe you can get the complete collection of measurement PDFs for under $5.
Arcadia
Is it for learning or converting? For learning my kids just learn what the prefix meant. For example (link) giga G 109 Billion mega M 106 Million kilo k 103 Thousand deci d 10-1 Tenth centi c 10-2 Hundredth milli m 10-3 Thousandth micro μ 10-6 Millionth nano n 10-9 Billionth For converting fun, we made the Metric Pyramid and the bookmarks.
