FLL and WWE not in sync.

We are on FLL1 and WWE1 but getting through FLL much faster than WWE as it has less lessons. I'm guessing this is common but is it ok? Do I go on to FLL2 or try to get in sync? Thanks.

Grammar and writing are two different subjects so you don't have to keep them lined up. Go at whatever pace with each as suits you. :) If you get to grammar lessons that require more writing than your little guy can manage, you can skip those parts.

We had that issue too. Now we do FLL every other day (on WWE copywork days) partly because DS doesn't really like it and because I don't want to spend forever on language arts every day.

FLL is only supposed to be done 3 days per week, but really it doesn't matter. My oldest did FLL2 with WWE1, and it was fine. The two don't even have to be done together. We use R&S English 5 with WWE3 right now. No syncing necessary.

Huh.  For some reason, I swear I read that it was supposed to be every day.  I just pulled my copy off the shelf and it says two to three times a week, though.  My son and I like our current pace so I think we'll stick to 5 days a week.
