Loowit
I am getting things ready for our day camps trading post and I am figuring out that I have no idea how to price things. I know that we need price them for more than they cost us, but beyond that I have no idea what is reasonable to charge. I avoid having garage sales for the same reason. Anyway, I was hoping that someone here could help out. I know that prices will vary by region, so if it helps we are in the PNW in a lower cost of living area. So what I am most concerned about pricing well are the water bottles. They are soft and collapsible with clips attached. They are 20 oz size and will have the camp name and year on them. They cost the camp $1.82 a piece. I was thinking that $2.50 or $3 each would be reasonable. Does that sound about right? The other items I was wondering about were small things like theme related pencils, silicon bracelets, tatoos, bouncy balls, and rubber duckies. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated. fairfarmhand
Usually it's about double the price that was paid for them. 3 dollars sounds fair for the water bottles.
