chocoholic
Anyone have any experience with this book with a 7th grader? Yay or Nay?
Erin
It's on my short list for 8th, so I hope you get some opinions!
SilverMoon
I used it with a 6th and 7th grader. It's fun, and I'll definitely do it again with my younger ones. :)
my3angels
I was planning to use it this summer with my 7th and 6th grader, but I haven't purchased it yet. Is the Teacher manual helpful? Should I get both the teacher and student books?
JudoMom
I've been using it with my older two this year and it is good. I'll do it again with my other boys when they're old enough. I like having the answers in the TM, otherwise I second guess myself since I'm not a logic guru.
mommymilkies
My advanced 6th grader is using it. We like it. I think it'd be just right for the 6th-8th grade range. I just use the teacher book. It has the answers, but we just do it together orally and discuss it. I found having both books to be unnecessary.

Should I get both the teacher and student books? Yes, I'd get both books. Ideally each student has their own workbook too. If you can't afford the whole thing they can share one workbook and write their answers on paper or orally. For absolute bare bones situations I'd get just the TM, take turns reading from it for the lesson portion, and you would read the exercises aloud to them. my3angels
Thank you for all the replies! Since the TM is necessary (I'm definitely not a logic guru), I will just get it first and go from there. :-)
