mom31257
Well, my kids might fit the stereotype, but my dh and I don't. Dd who is nearsighted is the one who reads a lot and doesn't care for going outdoors. She is very fair-skinned, so anytime spend outside is usually with sunscreen, too. My ds who isn't near-sighted doesn't love reading and is outdoors more than her, but he still doesn't love the heat or bugs! Dh loves to read and hasn't needed glasses until in his 40s. I didn't care for reading, but loved schoolwork. I spent a lot of time outside as a kid, and I needed glasses for near-sightedness by age 7. Donna
My eyes were horrible, probably from too much reading, and I went to public school.
Tita Gidge
I was a myopic Asian school kid :) None of my kids are LOL.
