jmccumbers
I'm looking for a book on an upper elementary level of understanding about the different regions of native american tribes. I'd like there to be a 2-4 page spread of the northeast woodland tribes, southeast woodland tribes, plains, southwest, northwest, california, and the far north tribes. Does anyone know if such a book exists?
serendipitous journey
And I don't know of a one-book resource myself. My favorite series so far is the "If You Lived With ... " series; here's a link to "If You Lived With The Indians of The Northwest Coast".
jmccumbers
Thank you! These look good, especially the Bobbie Kalman books. I'm really looking for brief coverage. More of an overview for spending one day on each area.

Ravin
No books, but I found this: http://www.learner.o...ap/indians.html And this link has maps of both historical and modern Native tribal lands, by state: http://www.native-languages.org/states.htm
