happypamama
Any suggestions on where I can find the Singapore workbooks for a good price? Or is my best bet to find a friend to order from Rainbow Resource with me so we can get free shipping?
HejKatt
I ordered mine through Christian Book Distributors (CBD): http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/cms_content?page=1611446&sp=102656 They occasionally run sales but nothing for SM right now (I just checked, the current sale is for 30% off Apologia Elementary). Also, sometimes people post free shipping codes for CBD. So it's not a better option than RR at the moment, but if you can wait, it could be. Also, if you don't mind the conditions, I would suggest checking the Scratch and Dent section:. http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/easy_find?event=EBRN&N=5304+5401+1111543&Ne=1000000&Nso=1&Nu=product.endeca_rollup&Ns=product.number_sold
happypamama
Thanks! I didn't know they had a scratch-and-dent section. Is there a way to get emails about what's on sale at CBD? I'm not really in a hurry to get them yet; if nothing else, I'll see if a friend can pick them up for me from one of the conventions. HejKatt
You could try this: https://www.christia...ail_preferences I have an account with them (although it doesn't appear you need one to sign up). When I access the above my options include: - Fab Friday Specials (weekly) - Midweek Markdowns (weekly) - Free Shipping and/or % off Promotions (2-6 times per year) - Weekly Offers and Announcements - Unsubscribe from All
happypamama
Cool, I'll look into that -- thanks, HejKatt!
boscopup
RR has free shipping on $50 right now, not $150 like they usually do. So you may not need a friend. ;) Also, RR sometimes has a few listed as "bargain books", which are the scratch and dent type. Usually, I can barely tell what is wrong with the book, or it's a little crease or something that would likely be there after the first day of use anyway. :tongue_smilie: If you aren't ordering $50 of stuff, the cheapest place is Ebay. There is a seller there that has decent prices. They're not as low as RR/CBD, but they're better prices than SingaporeMath.com.

Rai B.
I actually got a couple of the books from Singaporemath.com's damaged section. Said damage was not something I would have noticed if I hadn’t bought it as damaged.
