I'm pretty sure this is the one we have. It works great because as it pulls the hose in it guides it back and forth into a neat, tight coil. It also has that little holder for the hose so it doen't get pulled inside by over-zealous children. It is easy enough to crank that my six year old can do it.

Holy smokes! That puppy is expensive!

Good to know that it works, though.

We got this one last year and I've been really happy with it.

FWIW - I saw some metal hose reels on the HD website that looked durable.

The lady I work for got one similar to that at Walmart because she has arthritis and can't coil it by hand. It works really well, and uses the pressure of the water to pull it back in.

My sister has an outdoor sink that I think is made by that same company, it is awesome! It also has that feature that the hose is pulled back in by the water pressure. She got it at Menards.
