Tardis Girl
I have been struggling with my weight creeping up (and up) since my late 30s (darn that metabolism change!), and would really like to buy a decent digital scale for once. I'd love to find one in the $15-$20 range, if that's even possible, but really would like an accurate, reliable one. Suggestions? OH! And it cannot be the kind that has you stand on it in bare feet so that it can also measure BMI (or whatever it's doing). One family member has an electrical implant that would interfere, and I want one that everyone can use. Thanks so much!
jhschool
We bought the Weight Watchers one. It's glass or plastic or something. It is light green and looks like a thin slab of glass, so it's pretty. You just tap it, then when it reads 00000 you stand on it and read your weight. It is excellent. No frills, just weight. It is sturdy and looks good. I don't know how much it cost but it can't have been much -- DH bought it and he wouldn't have spent much on it. I think it's this one: Conair WW24W Digital Painted Glass Scale Digital Painted Glass Scale $
PrairieSong
I bought this one last summer, the Eatsmart Precision Premium: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Premium-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B002MK6QKO/ref=sr_1_4?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1363317928&sr=1-4&keywords=eatsmart+scale It doesn't give you your BMI, but you can stand on it without tapping it first. It measures your weight in .2 pound increments. It has good reviews on Amazon. I like mine and have had no problems with it.
