KIN
I'm taking a new medication. A side effect is dry mouth, and boy, do I have it! I'm drinking lots of water, but that doesn't seem to make the dry mouth go away. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Mom2GirlsTX
Oh I hate that! Years ago one of my migraine medications did that, it was as if it literally sucked every dry particle out of my mouth. You have my sympathy! I did find that chewing on sugar free gum helped alot (and I don't really enjoy chewing gum, but it did help) I also found that it helped to sip water more frequently through a straw versus just drinking it from the cup. So sorry you are having this side effect!
Desert Rat
My dad has had dry mouth for years because of his medication and chews gum or sucks lifesavers. Gum works better. HTH
sdWTMer
I think that the Biotene products work well with this!
Mom to Aly
I try sugar free gum, or jolly ranchers--not too many carbs or cals, but they last forever.
