PuddleJumper1
We need almond flour in bulk. Where are you finding it the cheapest these days? I've found $5.75 a pound if a buy 25#.
LaxMom
Honeyville blanched almond flour is $125 for a 25# box. $5/lb. If you hold out for a coupon from Honeyville, that price will drop to $106.25 or $4.25 / lb Eat: their natural almond flour is $110 /25lbs, regular price. PuddleJumper1
Though when almonds for less than 5 a pound on sale at our co-op I make my own. You can get raw almonds for $5/lb and make your own if you or a friend has a Vitamix or other heavy duty blender. I'll check at our co-op. We've made our own almond milk and yogurt in the past/
PuddleJumper1
I'll have to check Honeyville on gf status. From their site: Honeyville's Blanched Almond Flour is certified gluten-free. Good news :)
Mom-ninja.
Does it make a difference in baking if you use the natural (non blanched) almond flour? I need to add more fiber to our diet.

mommyx4
I think Trader Joes is Almond meal, not almond flour. It's not blanched and isn't as fine as the Honeyville.
