Wendi
My ds11 has been saving up to buy a Nintendo DS; he will have enough money next week. I have noticed there are educational games available; can you recommend which ones are best? Thanks! Wendi
E_Edgerton
Brain Age both 1 and 2. My Word Coach is for vocabulary development and spelling, and they have several for foreign languages.
Academy of Jedi Arts
Dd loves Brain Age 2. I have to admit, so do I. :D
unsinkable
We have My Spelling Coach. I have the kids do it every day. They don't complain...so that makes it good for me! For fun they play Nintendogs and Animal Crossing.
Dee in MI
I use My Spanish Coach. It's fine for learning vocabulary. It obviously isn't going to get me fluent in Spanish :) I also really like Professor Layton and the Mysterious Village. It's full of logic games and puzzles, set in a detective story. I'm slightly addicted to it. Dee
autumndivona
I will second "Professor Layton & the Curious Village"! I, too, am looking for educational games, and will be watching this thread.
mom2abcd
We have My Spelling Coach. I have the kids do it every day. They don't complain...so that makes it good for me! For fun they play Nintendogs and Animal Crossing. What's My Spelling Couch like? Do you use it as your only spelling program? How long do they do it? Is it broken down into lessons?
