dsmith
It seems that our waste line is clogged and backing up into the basement bathroom. I went around the house and told everyone not to flush or run any water, but 2 minutes later fil was in the bathroom, and flushing. Based on a brief visit into that bathroom to put a sign up about not flushing, I don't want this backing up into the house. Ugh. At least dh thinks he can take care of this on his own instead of calling Mr. Rooter. Last time it was $1600! I hate plumbing problems!! beaners
If you had it fixed in the last year, it might be covered under their warranty. We had a clogged tub in our last house, and the old piping was set up so oddly that their snake couldn't make the corners. We had to have the wall opened and the old pipe cut out and new pipe put in. When we had more trouble less than a year later, they came out and took care of it for free. Plumbing problems are no fun. :grouphug:
fairfarmhand
Look under the toilets and turn the little knob thingy to cut off the water supply to the toilet. You get one flush and then that's it. It will held break the habit.
