d.g. Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 My 8yo DS, who made me promise to get him a reptile once we move BTW, saw the photo loading and said "awwww, CUTE!!!!" Dmmetler Posted January 20, 2013 Author Share Posted January 20, 2013 Have him read the article-my DD was kind of disappointed to discover that they come out of the egg as "18 inches of mean" ;). FWIW, the adult komodos at the zoo have an entire building-each lizard has a good sized indoor room with swimming pool and basking rock, plus an outdoor area that they can go to when the weather is nice-so unless he wants to give up his bedroom....
