mum
I have 2 wedding showers to go to in next 2 weeks and both are for daughters of friends at church. I would like to spend under $15 for each. I am pretty crafty-can knit, sew, paint, etc. Any ideas for gifts? Thanks!
MooCow
Perhaps make their toasting glasses? or how about a cross stitch with their new married names on it.
plansrme
Christmas ornaments. Also, I recently came across an anniversary journal with pages for the couple to write notes about each anniversary from 1-50. It was handmade and $85(!!!!), but surely there are less expensive ways to make or obtain something similar. Terri
snickerplum
If you go to Hallmark (atleast in our town) they have all these little woodwick candles and some soy ones. They fit inside the little round gift boxes that are with the gift wrap. I did this a little bit back - 3 candles (in the bride's colors) plus the gift box and a teensy card came to under $15. Who doesn't like candles in their wedding colors? :)
rutamattatt
I used to give a little decoration for each holiday for their new home - one for Valentines Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They weren't anything super huge each, but together was a fun gift. I loved having little decorations to set out on a table when we were in our first apartment. :001_smile: I would usually pick up some decorations on clearance after each holiday so I had an inexpensive selection to choose from. If you are crafty, you could probably make them all yourself!
