Jane Elliot
Has anyone used Bridge Math (Beginnings Publishing, the publishers of Spectrum), the 7-week supplement designed to prepare students for high school level science? A friend at church yesterday mentioned that she really likes Rainbow Science. I had never looked at it before, so of course I had to go look :glare: even though I'm perfectly happy with the science we've been using. Anyway, I happened to see Bridge Math, and it looked interesting, and I wondered if anyone here could tell their experience with it.
Mrs. Readsalot
It looks like it will really enhance our ability to do Chemistry in the fall. I would strongly suggest using this before you start Chemistry. We used Chalkdust for Algebra and did very well, but the information taught in Bridge Math was not in Chalkdust Algebra. Moira in MA
Definitely worth the time. It really helped my eldest dd to get a handle on just what is important in science calculations and how to deal with rounding. Strongly recommended here. Maverick
Definitely worthwhile--ds used it alongside Spectrum chemistry this past year. We both thought it was very useful for understanding how math works in the context of science calculations.
MaryM
Excellent and kinda fun too. We used it prior to chemistry (not Specturm) and it was quite a help! Mary
