There was some good reading in it about their program and why they do things the way they do. I felt like I got a good lesson on teaching spelling. But in the day to day lessons, we never used it. It's also nice to already have sample sentences for the tests. Plus, it includes dictation sentences, so it's nice to have those too. It has further teaching suggestions, quiz sentences, and the student pages with the answers. The correcting time it saves me is worth the price alone.
