StartingOver
Emma has completed Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading, we will now just work on fluency and remind her of the rules when she comes across new words in her reading. Woooooooo hooooooo ! Four years ( two children ) with that book is enough, even if I do love it. LOL :auto::auto::auto:

StartingOver
YAY! I will be glad when we are done (but then again I have 2 more coming up so it's gonna be a while). I did it with two. Thankfully there are no more behind them, and will be done. I will wait on grand babies to tackle it again, if any live near by. LOL
StartingOver
Hurray! I have to say I was a drop out. I never even considered dropping out. I know it isn't for everyone, but it is perfect for my children.
LolaT
So does that mean you started it with her when she was two?
StartingOver
So does that mean you started it with her when she was two? No we used Leap Frog for letters, she started at 3 slowly at her request, and just in the last 6 months really ramped up in her reading. She is 4.5 now. My son finished it just short of 5 also. Never tried to put a video up before. Emma is working on fluency now, as she can read just about everything. ( she still needs help with unknown words and many proper nouns. LolaT
That is awesome! So cute. Does your DS6 do well with WWE2?
StartingOver
That is awesome! So cute. Does your DS6 do well with WWE2? Yes, amazingly he does. My other two sons now 21 and 23 would not have done so well with even WWE 1 and the copywork, much less dictation. I attribute that to AAS dictation though, honestly. He is a word lover and started to read, spell and write young.
