One day tickets are expensive and not really discounted. The price per day goes down dramatically with multi-day tickets. If you will be going for multiple days (and only mentioned the day you are doing Magic Kingdom), I highly recommend the online Undercover Tourist for tickets. Very reliable and a nice discount. Do NOT try to buy tickets on e-bay or from steetside kiosks in Orlando. They are not legal and you can end up having to buy all new tickets at the gate anyway.

The evening party people will not significantly impact crowds in the park during the day until they start letting them into the park. Even though the official hours of the party start at 7:00, they let them in starting about 4:00, I believe.

Crowd level 5 will be moderate crowds. The earlier you get to the park, the better. Usually, the first hour or two are wonderful before the sleepyheads start getting to the park. You will need a plan to make the most of your day and not wait in long lines. Know which attractions are musts and do the most popular and slowest loading ones first. Know how to use Fastpass. You will NOT do it all in one day so set your priorities.
