mommyshanti
Any books your grammartarians would recommend to an adult trying to improve her grammar? TIA:)
Hunter
My ESL students like Cozy Grammar, but I like it less for the LD students. They get a little too cozy  and get out of learning mode.

css3238
Elements of Style. No question. Best book a writer could read.
nansk
1. DailyGrammar.com sells an e-workbook. You can also do the lessons online for free, but the workbook puts it all in one place. It doesn't involve diagramming. 2. KISS grammar has a one-semester course for adults which is online on the web site. 3. I used a free typed-up copy of Harvey's Elementary Grammar to revise with the basic concepts. 4. www.englishgrammar101.com has a complete, FREE online program, which I've not used. 5. Robert Einarsson's English Grammar Workbook. 6. I posted links to some free diagramming lessons in this thread.

boscopup
I've been learning via KISS. I actually went through the grade 3 level 1 materials, before doing through it with my son, but as an adult, I could go a LOT faster than my son. ;) I did this last year during Christmas break. I should probably start working on level 2 this year during break. :)
mommyshanti
How do you use KISS, do you print everything out? I looked at the englishgrammer101 that pp mentioned and I like that you can do it all online but I'm sure it is a different system than KISS. mommyshanti
Also how do you correct it? The beginning looks pretty basic but I'm sure it gets more difficult as you progress and I ned to know whether answers are correct or not. PRTGSw2K
Bumped b/c I want to know, as well.
boscopup
I do KISS on my tablet, but it's not bad to print out either. There are answer keys for every exercise. That would be the â€AK†file on the website.
