crazyfordlr
Ugh, I was lulled into a false sense of security when yesterday went so well!!! It is 1:10pm here and we've managed to do 1 Perplexors worksheet and half a math assignment. My ydd has taken an HOUR to eat 3 taquitos. I may have to switch from water to wine!!!! IlovemychildrenIlovemychildrenIlovemychildrenIlovemychildrenIlovemychildren! Thanks for letting me vent.
thescrappyhomeschooler
:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Mine have been pretty good today, but I was ready to trade them in a couple days ago. They've just been fighting way more than usual. I know it's because we've been out of a routine for too long. Not looking forward to having them start full force back to school! Spryte
Want to trade? :D Our first 7 days of school were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Yesterday we had a math meltdown. And today was like pulling.teeth.all.day. [sigh] Tomorrow will be better!
fraidycat
:grouphug::grouphug: I will probably be sharing this sentiment in a week or two. Mine are driving me a little nuts right now, but that is MY fault. We haven't had enough structure, so they've had way too much free time to come up with new and interesting ways, as well as revisiting old favorites, to push each other's buttons. Once I implement the structure back in, I'm not looking forward to the push back I will most likely get.
