BibleBeltCatholicMom
What do you do with the almond/date paste left over after draining? I'm getting ready to make my first batch and want to go ahead and plan for the left-over stuff in case I need to get ingredients I hadn't expected. In the Rain
I don't have an answer to your exact question, but I made cashew milk this week, for the first time. With the directions I followed, you don't drain the pulp, so that made it super easy. I've seen directions for making cashew cheese out of pulp that someone strained from cashew milk. I'd imagine you could do that with almond pulp.
Hoot
I add a little vanilla extract, dates, sea salt, a bit of lemon juice and some coconut and dehydrate it into cookies.
Chels~
I have made grain-free wraps with it. I will toss it into oatmeal, smoothies or any type of bread/muffin/cookie recipe. You could also sprinkle on ice cream, yogurt, etc...
BibleBeltCatholicMom
Ohhhhh, anyone want to post a recipe or attach a link? Those look good!
Soror
I've used it for crackers. re: leftover pulp I think it depends on how powerful your blender/processor is as mine certainly doesn't make it fine enough not to strain.
Medieval Mom
We add it to our oatmeal in the morning. :)
