Awhile back there was a vintage book thread but I can't seem to find it. Possibly it was on another forum.... but in any event, I recall seeing a fun sewing manual for young girls to do with their mothers. It was on google books. Anyone know of something like this?

I'm guessing it was from the 50's? I could be wrong though.

I have the Mary Frances Sewing Book as a PDF on my computer. I think I downloaded it from a hs blog?

If you are interested, PM me your email and I will be happy to send it.

ETA: I have the knitting book, too.

Thank you! I just looked it up to see if that was what I had seen before. This is different from the one I had in mind but might just work. Do YOU enjoy it and find it fun to do?

Also, I found this link from the Library of Congress.

THAT WAS IT!!! Thank you!! I just emailed this link and the one to Mary Frances' book to my mother. Grandma is going to cover the sewing lessons with the girls so I'll let her choose which one she likes. Thanks everyone!!
