I'm intrigued and would love to hear your experiences with one or the other. Which one is "better"? Is it possible to get the book only an create the kit myself or is the kit ultra helpful? Spryte Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 We used Lentil Science, as a fun supplement when kiddo was in K - 2. It was fun, but not a stand alone. But it was a lot of work to set up, even with the kit. If you opt for it, definitely go for the kit, but be prepared for a big time commitment. woolybear Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Get a grip was pretty simple to set up. I would think maybe you could start with Get a Grip and then get the Lentil guidebooks later? I thought it was pretty good, but the kids did get a little bored with it after a couple of months. I will probably pull it back out this year, though.
